The Time
and Expense solution is
a Business Gateway™ Mobile solution and a fully automated Time, Labor, and
Expense entry system for use with SAP® CATS. Out of the box, Time and
Expense fully supports all of the communication and process functionality
required for integration with SAP® CATS. Time and Expense runs on any
Windows CE complaint wireless device including tablet PC’s, PDA’s, Pocket
PC’s, and many cellular phones.
Functionality can be expanded with the STConnector™
interface add-on to bi-directionally support automated PP-PDC, HR-PDC, PM,
PK and PS modules for confirmations of HR Time, Production Orders, Service
Orders, and other SAP® PDC related items.
Time and
Expense runs independently of Business Gateway™ and SAP® and can save all
entries locally to the mobile device until a desired time of an automated
upload process to the SAP® system through the Business Gateway™ Server is
defined. This reduces (in cradle scenarios, eliminates) airtime and allows
user to verify accurate information prior to committing a transaction to the SAP® system.
